Fueling social innovation: Marico Awards 2007-08
|
Applications are invited for the Innovation for India Awards 2007-08.
Successful innovation isn't simply a matter of coming up with ideas. It's the ability to nurture those ideas and make them work that distinguishes a truly innovative organisation. Keeping this in mind, the Innovation for India Awards 2007-08 recognises those who have taken an innovative idea from concept to reality and have sustained results to show for their efforts. The Innovation for India Awards have been instituted by the Innovation for India – Marico Foundation and have been architected and audited by Erehwon Innovation Consulting. The Marico Innovation Foundation was created in March 2003 under the stewardship of Dr Ramesh Mashelkar. The Foundation's Mission is to Fuel Innovation in India, by providing the nation with a belief that innovation is possible and is the way to leapfrog India to global leadership. In 2006, The Marico Innovation Foundation institutionalised Awards for Business and Social Innovation with the intention of rewarding projects and businesses that make a real difference to the country and community at large. The awards for this year will be announced on 19 March 2008. The last date for application is January 15. Click here to download form Source: InfoChange |
